As the Doctor digs into her forgotten past via Division secrets and encounters a hidden incarnation known as the Fugitive Doctor, loyalties and timelines blur. Though visually ambitious and packed with classic monsters, many viewers felt the storytelling became cluttered, underdeveloped, and rushed by its finale, leaving philosophical threads unresolved.
